Wrapping Up 2023 with Strides in Security, Support, and Product Enhancements

As 2023 draws to a close, we reflect on a year marked by significant advancements in security, support, and product capability. Looking forward to 2024, the company is poised for continued success with upcoming improvements and strategic partnerships.

Support: Strengthening the Foundation

ProviderSoft recognizes that exceptional support is fundamental to user satisfaction. In 2023 we added Help Desk personnel and Account Representatives to ensure that users receive timely assistance and personalized support. The formation of an expanded tier 3 support team further reinforces ProviderSoft’s commitment to resolving issues promptly.

The introduction of Zendesk brings a streamlined support experience, offering users a centralized hub for all their inquiries and assistance needs.

Security: Strengthening the Fortifications

Security continued to be a focus in 2023 with further efforts to fortify our platform. Enhanced security awareness training for all team members keeps the knowledge to recognize and thwart potential threats top of mind. Additional secure coding and OWASP Top 10 training for developers ensures that our software is hardened against the latest methods of attack.

To bolster preparedness, incident response exercises were conducted to refine the team’s ability to swiftly and effectively respond to any security incidents.

Product: Preparing for Change

We have successfully completed a second round of testing for our integration with New York’s upcoming state system, EI Hub. This preparation and testing lays the groundwork for a seamless transition. Our integration includes the ability to correct claims electronically with kudos from the EI Hub team as ProviderSoft is the first to do so.

In the mobile realm, we have brought the development of the client-side application fully in-house allowing us to be more responsive to client needs and ensure consistent delivery of value. Our team has implemented enhanced analytics and several stability improvements to refine the mobile user experience.

Several improvements have been made to ensure data safety by allowing tighter controls on child documents and enrollment data as well as additional validations applied to Session Note submission. And, as always, a steady stream of usability and performance improvements were delivered.

Looking Ahead to 2024: Anticipating Growth and Innovation

ProviderSoft is not resting on its laurels and is already gearing up for 2024. Expect significant improvements to the Flags functionality, group and center-based workflows, and a fresh “Look and Feel”. 

We are also in the early stages of entering into a partnership that will allow us to offer automated Medicaid exclusion checks and credential monitoring, reducing the administrative burden of ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

As we bid farewell to a successful 2023, we look forward to a promising 2024, marked by innovation, growth, and continued dedication to providing the best possible solution for Early Childhood Education agencies.
